One child. One massive poonami to clean in the suite of a 5-star hotel 30 minutes before guests had to check in. Two too-small diapers taped together and one aromatherapy candle later...

The day that my daughter twerked in perfect rhythm to Rob Base. Well, it's a tie between that and when she scarfed down 25 crawfish in one sitting.
Dinner party or play date?
Dinner party. Play dates are only fun when vino is involved.
Home or away?
Away. Why would anyone want to stay at home when there is a world to discover?

Mothering isā¦
Taking that inherent skill of multitasking ten thousand steps further. Being able to wax and cook dinner and still find time to make sensory toys at the same time. It's also a HELL of a job, but those joyous moments are to be treasured. And remembered the next time your urchin whines.
