POSTMAN CRAP

A Dad called Tom Eastern posted this brilliantly funny rant on the Cbeebies Facebook page: "Postman Pat is a bungling fool. There, I said it. Every morning I watch with my baby daughter as he stumbles from one blunder to the next, invariably losing or damaging the object he is to deliver, keeping people waiting in a state of ever-heightening anxiety as he becomes mired in his own staggering ineptitude. All too often, he removes his delivery from its original packaging to use it for his own purposes en route, which I certainly hope is not representative of Royal Mail working practices. If it is a windy day and his delivery is lightweight, it is inevitable he will open it and wave it around so that it can blow away. If he is delivering an animal, you can be sure he will open its enclosure, enabling it to escape into the countryside. His incompetence knows no bounds and is masked only by the assistance (unpaid) he receives from the residents of Greendale, without whom none of his deliveries would ever reach their recipients. It is high time some episodes were aired in which he delivers items promptly, under his own steam and entirely without incident. Only thus will the faith of our children in essential public services be restored." Go here
