A picnic? With micro pigs? Sign. Us. Up. The London Pignic is a pop-up picnic where you get to scoff sarnies with a load of miniature pigs and learn more about their welfare.
"Expect a night of food, drinks, piggy education and, of course, a picnic with the most adorable littler of teacup pigs London has ever seen," says the guys at Yelp, the urban city guide that's behind this pig fest. How to sign up for this ace event? We hear you holler.
The pignic will take place at Haggerston hangout The Proud Archivist on the run-up to and over the second May bank holiday weekend. The pop-up will run from May 21 and 22, 6-10pm and May 23 to 25, 2-6pm. Tickets are randomly allocated; you need to RSVP to show your interest here and then you'll find out whether you're one of the lucky lot to have bagged a place a week before the event. Crossing fingers this little piggy goes to market.
