Scribbles, doodles, signatures and full-on artistic triumphs are welcome at Battersea's Doodle Bar that overlooks Ransome's Dock. With chalk and white walls, all pens are welcome and there's a outside beach bar bit and ping pong table for good measure.

Looking for something to keep the clan schtum this Easter? There's some serious tie-dying and screen-printing action for 8 to 11-year-olds on 1 and 2 April. For the 2 to 7-year-olds there's a messy play and craft session on 7 and 8 April, while all ages can rock up to the sewing bags and bunting workshops on 9 and 10 April. This is such a cool spot (with beer on tap and a great gastro pub menu) that the Easter bunny better watch his back.
